A Spooky Surprise!

It was a dark and stormy night. The moon was hidden by clouds, and the only light came from flickering stars. Children were tucked safely in their beds, but deep in the woods, something unusual was about to happen. Suddenly, a big creature with bright eyes peeked out from behind a tree. He had long teeth and rough skin.

"Boo!" he roared. Other creatures joined from the trees, all shouting "Boo!" at the same time. They were having so much joy scaring each other! One little beastie was nervous. He didn't want to say "Boo!" because he thought it would be too scary. But then, a big beast with a kind smile said, "Don't worry, little one. It's just for fun! Let's all say 'Boo!' together." And so they did, laughing and having a great time on this amazing Halloween night.

My Friend the Friendly Ghost

It all started one sunny afternoon. I was drawing in my room when I heard a funny noise. It sounded like someone was giggling just outside my door. Scared, I slowly crept over and peeked through the keyhole. There, standing in my hallway, was the most wonderful sight!

It was a tall ghost with bright eyes and a friendly face. "Hello," it said. "My name is Wilbert, and I'm your new friend!"

I was so surprised that I could barely breathe. But then, I started to giggle because his sound was so nice.

We became the best of friends. The ghost would often appear in my room and we would play together. He even taught me how to fly!
